A man is offered a tour of Heaven and Hell. First, he sees Hell, in which all the people are trying to eat with giant unwieldy chopsticks. They struggle to pick up food, but can't get any in their mouths--the chopsticks are too long. All the people there are starving and miserable, constantly tempted by the scent of food but never able to eat. Then he sees Heaven, and is surprised to see the same chopsticks. There, people are feeding each other.
The fun revolution loves the idea of "Create Generosity Now" as opposed to " make poverty history" because whereas " make poverty history" tends to focus on "the powers that be" to solve the problem by dropping the debt and increasing aid, anyone can "Create Generosity Now" , every single individual can be generous, because every single individual on the planet has something to give.
The Fun Revolution would like to see a programme of events on a worldwide scale that is bigger than live8. these events would be called "Create Generosity Now" and would involve everything being generously donated free of charge, with no expectation of anything in return. events where no money changes hands whatsoever. in the spirit of the "chopsticks story".
the venue given for free, the acts playing for free, the food provided for free, the stewarding for free, admission is free, all to show that generosity is possible. all to give the opportunity for anyone and everyone to experience generosity and unconditional giving.
of course thats a grand vision, however its possible for individuals to make "Create Generosity Now" happen now, by giving something, anything, unconditionally now.
as grand as it sounds The Fun Revolution truly believes that if we start creating generosity now, we can and would create a fundamental and profound change for the peace and happiness of every single person on our planet.
so, after capitalism, socialism, communism comes the new political theory for the C21st

Positive Advertising Is A Way Of Campaigning That Promotes And Sells "The Solution" To Any Problem We Want To Solve I.E. Eco Goods, In The Same Way That We Currently Promote And Sell Cars.
After All, If You Can Market Cigarettes, Which Kill People, Then Surely Its Possible To Market Goods And Services, That Are Good For People And Their Environment.
We Need To Take A Leaf Out Of The Successful Company's Book. We Need To Market These Solutions The Same Way We Currently Market Cars And Mobile Phones. Advertisers Dont Tell People That What They Are Currently Driving Or That The Phone That They Are Using At The Moment Is Wrong, They Don't Try And Scare People Into Buying A New Version Either. They "Entice" People To Buy It. They Make It Sexy And Desirable, And In Doing So, They Get Their Desired Result.
We Need To Stop Being "Anti Climate Change" And "Anti Globalization" And Be "Pro Whatever Our Solution Is" And Make It Sexy And Desirable. Once People Desire It, Then The Entrepreneurs Will See That They Can Make Money Selling What People Desire And They WILL Start Selling It. That Way WE ALL WIN.

We Have A Theory We'd Like People's Opinions On It Please. The Question Is " Is This Proposal Workable In Reality And If So, How Do We Start It Making It Happen?"
If All The Major Corporations All Around The World Invested All Their Profits To Feed The Starving, House The Homeless And Provide First Class Health Care For All, I Think We Would Be Living In A Better World. So Why Don't All The Charity Organizations Like Oxfam, Save The Children Etc, Start Competing With These Corporations, Using The Unique Selling Point That ALL Their Profits Will Be Invested In These Good Causes. They Would Sell Their Goods At The Same Price And Of The Same Quality, The Only Difference Is Where They Invest Their Money. It Doesn't Just Have To Be Consumable Goods Either. Why Not Create A "Charity" Version Of Google? It Is Free To Use Google So Money Isn't An Issue In Terms Of Which Search Engine A Consumer Uses, But The Ethical Benefits Will Be.
If It's A Case Of Money Then Surely There Are Philanthropists Out There With The Start Up Capital To Invest.
So Is It Possible To Set Up Oxfam Cola, Friends Of The Earth Search Engine, Save The Children Supermarket?
We Live In A Consumer Society. Instead Of Having Charity Fundraisers On The Street, Effectively Begging For Money For Their Good Cause, Why Not Have Street Vendors, Selling Goods That People Would Be Buying Anyway I.E Coca Cola, But Selling Oxfam Cola Instead, At The Same Price But With All The Profits Going To Oxfam?
